DIACONAL SELECTION CRITERIA AND LEARNING OUTCOMES (DISPOSITIONS)

In 2016, in response to a request from the Ministry Division of the Church of England, the Diocese of  Exeter produced these ‘Dispositions’ (selection criteria and learning outcomes) for distinctive deacons, to be used by DDOs, vocations advisers, ministerial training staff and deacons’ training incumbents.

These Dispositions are sanctioned by the Rt Rev Robert Atwell, Bishop of Exeter, for use in the diocese until such time as Ministry Division Has completed its overhaul of the Church of England’s vocation system.
